It looks like you can play homebrew and pirated games on all versions of the PSP now.

  1. Pretty impressive, but until I can run umd emulator on a psp firmware greater then 1.5 I won’t upgrade. Homebrew isn’t a big del, most homebrew games aren’t that impressive. The only useful homebrew game is UMD Emulator, which lets you play backed up psp games.

  2. if this new thing allows you to run the downgrader, that might give you more options.

    but I haven’t had any reason to upgrade from 1.50 yet either. I mean with Fastloader I can run my UMDs that need firmware upgrades.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
