  1. That’s the one that I dislike about iPods. They either didn’t seem to think (or care) that obvious use case…I’ll cave and buy one soon though. How much space do you think it worth getting? Right now I only have ~7 GB of music, but I could imagine videos taking up lots of space.

  2. I purchased a battery for my brother’s 2G, and replaced it myself. Cost me less than $100. And wasn’t hard.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
