37signals latest application is IRC in a web browser.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. And I can’t decide that it’s any better than using a Java applet (aside from it not being a Java applet).

  2. Their reasoning for the product does seem sound: I mean, IRC isn’t that complicated, but it is far from intuitive. My dad couldn’t set up an IRC channel, but I am guessing he could set up one of these campfire channels. The real question is how much desire there is for a product such as this.

I'd try it out myself, but 37signals is on my list of things to boycott with furious irrationality, just like America.

  3. Todd Dominey has a public room open.

  4. “Sign-up only takes 10 seconds!”

-I need more than 12 seconds to type out my last name. Please, try not to exclude Sri Lankans in business advertisings.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
