BBEdit vs. TextMate. ⇒

   6 March 2006, late afternoon

It seems to me most people who use Textmate never used a Mac prior to Mac OS X, whereas BBEdit's userbase probably were running BBEdit under Sysytem 7, 8 and 9. This link was found via Daring Fireball.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

Comments

  1. I used BBEdit on System 9 for a long time, finally moving up to TextWrangler on OS X. Now I use nothing but TextMate. BBEdit is too…not OS X.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
