it’s really worth pointing out that the ACM contest means absolutely nothing. All it means is that five people trained really hard at solving problems. It’s comparable to being really good at trivial pursuit.
Would you rather go to Saratov State or Stanford? Put another way: Would you rather go to the school with a programming trophy or the one that invented Google AND Yahoo?
