A painting of me

Abdorrahman Boroumand Foundation. ⇒

   18 May 2006, early afternoon

Abdorrahman Boroumand was an advocate for democracy in Iran. He was assassinated by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran in his home in Paris. This web site was created by his daughters. Half the foundations web site consists of a library of information on Human Rights and Democracy; the other half of the site is a memorial to those killed in Iran. It's an interesting, and depressing, web site. This link was found via Mahi.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
