Sometimes I wonder if political pundits are as dumb as the people they preach to; in the case of this story I suspect the answer is yes: John Gibson is as dumb as the people that watch his show. (Aside: Am I messing up the punctuation I used in the preceeding sentence?)

Since you brought up grammar issues, it’s the preceding sentence, the comma between “is” and “yes” is unnecessary, the semicolon use looks lovely to me (people should use them more, they are fun), and “the people that was his show” makes no sense to me at all.
But I say this only because you brought it up.
