Stephen Hawking isn't too optimistic about our future.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Colbert on Hawking.

  2. He’s a smart guy, but how does being a theoretical physicist qualify him as an authority on human survival?

  3. It doesn’t; that’s why he asked the question I guess.

  4. I guess I’m referring to some articles I read in the BBC or Toronto Star. They seem to treat what he has to say as hard science.

  5. Everything Stephen Hawking says is hard science, even if it’s in the form of a question.

I wonder if anyone ever calls him Stevie Wonder.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
