  1. Hilarious!

Moving to California is an option. Great place. I miss it already.

  2. Speaking of California, I was glad to see they passed the Stem Cell legislation. When California becomes part of Canada i’ll have to make a trip out to visit my friends there.

  3. Yeah, its like the rest of the country is going in one direction while California is forging its own path. Federalism at its very best.

What I was really surprised that Oregon didn’t pass the civil union referendum. In a state as liberal as Oregon, that actually shocks me.
Then again California had voted against it in a previous election.

I wonder if people are really against gay unions or against the idea of a government defining what a marriage is. I hope its the latter. Most likely judicial activism is the key answer here because the courts should uphold the constitution and thereby something inherently “unequal”.

The popularity of ‘Ahhnold’ is undeniable in California. Each measure that he backed was passed comfortably. Everything in moderation.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
