  1. I am glad that you’ve posted these few articles on this issue. Otherwise I’d still be listening to the news stories that casually mention the possibility that this is all propaganda and scoffing.

    It reminds me of the shooting of that alleged terrorist in the London subway last year. When the rumors of incompetence came out, I was skeptical. It’s funny, for all my antiauthoritarian leanings, I still find myself wanting to believe that this shit doesn’t happen, that the government is generally trying to do good work.

    I hate being disappointed.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
