  1. I use the MS Ergo Keyboard 4000 that someone linked to in the first few comments. I love it. I can’t imagine going back to a non-split keyboard, by the by. It also dissuades a lot of people from messing with my computer, as they apparently are incapable of typing properly. But this thing is much better for my wrists.

  2. Kinesis Contoured Advantage Pro

I’ve tried it and it’s really comfortable to the point where you refuse to move during the entire day other than typing.

Right now at work I use 2 keyboards (usb) connected to the same computer so my hands are about 2.5 to 3 feet apart from each other. It’s really comfortable and I don’t have to deal with a split keyboard telling me which finger to use for the middle keys and I can adjust the distance between my hands. That and one of the keyboards (right side) is a laptop with a stick-mouse so I never have to move my hands ever.

  3. Your two keyboard solution seems a bit more cost effective than the Kinesis Contoured Advantage Pro. Damn that is expensive.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
