A painting of me

"I'm not aware of any situation in the world where there is a system of jurisprudence that is recognized by civilized people where an individual can be tried and convicted without seeing the evidence against him," said Brig. Gen. James Walker. ⇒

"I don't think the United States needs to become the first in that scenario," he said.

  1. i think i’m going to invent a single word that summarizes the sheer insanity of any orwellian bush story you can come across: guantanamo, secret trials, secret prisons, wiretapping, etc. you can use the word as a 1-word comment or as a tag on sites like technorati or digg.

my first attempt at what this word should be is: yartsaclu (pronounced: “y-art-sac-loo”)

it’s short for “yet another reason to support [the] aclu”

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
