That is one awkward sentence. Haha. [ed. fixed] Of course, they’ve also accused Israel of the same. I was listening to the news on NPR this morning and I have to wonder… is Amnesty really that relevant? I admire what they do, certainly, but do Canadians or people in the rest of the world take them more seriously? In the United States, this essentially means nothing.

It probably means next to nothing here as well. I think people who already have a position on the matter look to groups like these to back their position. I don’t think condemnation from Amnesty International is going to sway opinion. Of course, sometimes they break a story, and that is important.
