Why is the USA so frequently the victim of resentment around the world? ⇒

Mostly because it is an evil, evil country. This web site has information on coups the US has backed, UN resolutions they have vetoed, etc.
This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.
Genetic-modified food?
Being the largest polluter in the World, failing to acknowledge it, and opposing doing anything about it (e.g. Kyoto)?
Being the only country in the World to execute children?
Opposing the Geneva Conventions, the International Criminal Court; while supporting torture (aka “alternative interrogation techniques”)?
Weaponizing space? Opposing bans on nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons? Opposing bans on small arms? Opposing bans on land mines?
Evil multinational corporations (Monsanto, Walmart, Exxon) that try to destroy society to support their greed? Creating institutions and practices (World Bank, IMF, agricultural subsidies, IP, etc.) that further this?

As much as I hate the states, they’re not the only ones in the World to execute children. Iran is known for doing the same.

It’s way too easy to fall into the trap of generalising – “Evil evil country” and “hate the states”? It’s a massive country with a massive population. It’s done its share of good and its share of bad. Try to be more specific with your critiques.
