A painting of me

The Bush administration has blocked another scientific journal article. ⇒

What business the government has censoring the scientific community is beyond me, but the fact that the report is on global warming suggests to me that this censorship has more to do with politics than science.

  1. While I was down in the US last week, I caught a commercial on the Weather Channel for an upcoming program on global warming. Contrary to what you might have heard, the host insisted, global warming is real, and her show would tell you what you could do about it.

In other words, things have gotten so bad that even the Weather Channel has had to draw a line in the sand and speak out against the government. I mean, the Weather Channel!

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
