Viva - York Region's new rapid transit system. ⇒

   12 December 2004, early afternoon

Markham is replacing their old ghost-bus system with real buses, and introducing them to the world with a slick website. This link was found via Mattism.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Being able to buy fares at bus stops is a big step in the right direction. Very nice.

  2. I think in a region where people will drive to visit their next door neighbour, the transit commission will have to push concepts like the “Unbus” and provide uber-coveniences such as fare vending machines at each stop.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
