  1. Classic.
I also dissaprove of the environmental political message about people polluting serwer systems in New York in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. How dare they insert political statements regarding pollution and the environment into childrens shows, while not presenting an equally popular cartoon show that presents pollution and man-made destruction of the environment/ecosystem in the positive light it deserves to be shown in. Who’s to say that leaving toxic ooze in sewers might not have created millions of jobs for American workers and provided inspiration for a successful creation of cold fusion instead of making mutant turtles and Shredder.

  2. Wait a minute, hold on. Conservative pundits are seriously losing their shit over cartoon penguins?

The Democrats are coming back into power, you guys! You have much bigger things to lie and complain about! Honest to God, cartoon penguins?

  3. But the penguins are sooo cute! (Btw, I really wanted to go see the movie.. and this is before I knew of all the controversy. Let’s go when I’m done school, please.)

  4. I have no idea what’s in the movie, but Glen Beck and Fox news are mad about a movie that shows “dark” “political messages” aimed a kids…don’t these people realize how many commercials already target kids with various messages, a number of which are actually bad (smoking, fatty foods, etc.) – or are they only able to critize things which don’t fit their World-view?!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
