  1. Apparently, my “@geog.utoronto.ca” email address is not a valid university email address. They said they will get back to me in 3 business days, is that counting today?

    I think my “@utoronto.ca” might have worked. Oh well, I’ll just have to wait.

  2. I never understood why Autodesk wouldn’t give free copies to students. It always struck me as one of those companies that would greatly benefit from having new entrants to the workforce be more familiar with their software than a competitor’s software.

  3. They are probably looks for X@Y.edu, but that’s only US colleges.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
