A painting of me

Its creepy just how addictive cigarettes are.

  1. Creepy, maybe, but mostly sad. I’ve watched heavy smokers quit/try to quit, even when it’s too late.

  2. Yeah. I know people who can’t quit as well. When I’d visit my cousin at Princess Margaret you’d always walk past this depressing posse of old men and women in wheel chairs and IV drips smoking. From what I’ve read there are fewer and few people smoking each year, and the amounts people smoke now don’t compare to the amounts people smoked in the 50s and 60s. I imagine the governments goal with laws like this one are to ultimately weed it out of existence.

  3. I love the bit that ZeFrank did about how to quit smoking. Speaks to the futility of the endeavor for so many smokers.

  4. That’s a wicked clip — so true as well.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
