The guys behind the advertising, when released on bail, told reporters they would only answer questions about haircuts form the 1970s.

So this happened right in my neighborhood. On Tuesday night, when I was walking out of my train station, there was this strange box mounted on a beam under the bridge (this is the one described as being under Interstate 93, in Charlestown). I thought it was odd because it’s right where the buses drive through and pick up passengers, which means a LOT of people had to see them put it up. Despite people saying they were up for three weeks, this box was definitely not up for more than a day (at least not turned on). It appears that this is the one that triggered the freak out, so it was probably put up that night. I looked at it and thought it was hilarious and wondered how they’d done it – there had to have been at least a dozen witnesses and the buses drive through their constantly.
Anyway, this whole thing is hilarious. They were so clearly Lite Brites. And by the way, Boston police, why on earth would a bombmaker put bright lights on their bomb? Look at me, I’m a bomb! No. Idiots.
