  1. Yeah, I saw this on Metafilter in the morning and it wasn’t a good way to start the day.

    I used to to buy 110-120 minute tapes and start them recording at midnight on my significantly less than hi-fi ‘system’ and maybe sleep at 1. I’d then go listen to as much as I’d recorded the next day and then tape another broadcast.

    Brave New Waves was the best thing on the CBC. I regret not having been able to listen to it in so long.

    Also, I hope I never see a photo of Patti Schmidt.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
