  1. No way, man. That’s so fake. It’s still happening, though.

  2. Rishi nailed it. Most people think those pictures are of nothing but a cardboard box with paper taped to it:

  3. Even if someone did mold and machine a hard plastic and aluminum case that was fully functional, that box is too big, and Apple would never put iHome on it in such big letters. That’s so 2nd Generation G3.

If it’s really supposed to be a media center, Apple will make darn sure it blends in well with most discerning living rooms.

  4. That, and they wouldn’t use British English when spelling “Media Centre.”

  5. Oh, I thought Apple uses British spelling for all their secret projects, since Americans can’t read it.

  6. Good point Rob, I missed that. I do wonder what the new box will look like, assuming they plan to put one out.

And yes, the all-too-famous British spelling cypher. That’s what I use to encrypt my emails.

  7. I believe it was developed by the British to counter German Intelligence in WW2.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
