  1. The fact that he even has to ask anyone whether that’s a good idea concerns me.

    He’s 40, she’s 35…what does he think she would think if he gave her a ring and didn’t propose?

    I’m concerned about how out of touch he is.

  2. Yeah, there was so much going on in that short question I had to share it. The thread is an entertaining read. Really, you should know how your girlfriend would react if you gave her a ring. As with all these relationship questions, I think the fact he even asked suggests he knew the answer already.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
