If I ever go about redesigning the site so its not fixed-width (something I need to do) this little trick will be very handy.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Man, I like fixed width design. Is it just me?

  2. I like fixed width designs too, but I like them to grow and shrink as you change the text size. This site starts to break the moment you mess around with the text-size in your browser. If you go to the site I made for Sanaz, when you increase the text-size, the layout expands accordingly. I’m not a fan of sites where the text grows and shrinks as you widen your browser window: wide stretches of text is hard to read.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
