A painting of me

"These people are able to stay here because in 1985 our arrogant Supreme Court, aided and abetted by human rights extremists, took it upon itself to grant foreigners the same protections Canadian citizens have." ⇒

My stand on this issue is that we should respect all people, irrespective of where there passports are from. Also, I'm not sure what a Human Rights Extremist is, but the phrase sounds funny to me.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. You remember those knobs from “Harold and Kumar” who thought everything they did was so extreme? Well, apply that behaviour to human rights activists, and you should have a pretty good idea.

  2. I think the only thing I need to know about that phrase is that I knew who you were linking to before I had the chance to click.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
