  1. I wonder how many Quicksilver Tutorials you’ll post on your blog before you start using it for all kinds of crazy shit

  2. I’m not sure. Right now I use it to: open applications, skip songs in iTunes, and … well that’s about it. I need to set up crazy triggers and crap like that.

  3. one thing that will help you really start using is Cmd+G. Select an app on your desktop, launch QS, Cmd+G, then you can copy, move, compress, email, etc that selection (be it a file or otherwise).

Dedicate a few hours in one sitting one day on figuring out some stuff and then you’ll see how you slowly start working them into your everyday…

  4. A good follow-up on 43Folders. Lifehacker has now posted an explanation of the preferences.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
