Facebook's "Privacy Trainwreck": Exposure, Invasion, and Drama. ⇒

   9 April 2007, mid-afternoon

This is old -- back when Facebook first changed their news feed -- but I stumbled on it again now while looking for information on Data Mining and Facebook.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. “but I stumbled on it again now while looking for information on Data Mining and Facebook.”

    Not creepy at all.

  2. I was at dinner with some friends when Facebook came up — yet again — and someone mentioned it was being used by the CIA to spy on people, so I’ve been trying to track down why she thought that.

  3. I think someone is just a tad bit obsessed with anything Facebook related. I wont say who! :P

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
