Scientific American on Quantum Encryption. ⇒

   20 January 2005, lunch time

Damn -- apparently Quantum Mechanics isn't all bullshit. I might owe Ju-lian a pop or something.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. You don’t need to look that far for practical applications of QM. All the chips in your computer rely on quantum mechanical effects.

  2. Are you trying to pretend it isn’t voodoo magic?

  3. It is magic but, I’m just saying encryption isn’t the first time it’s been used.

  4. I’m well aware; it just in this case the use is much more visible.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
