The Dan Brown code. ⇒

On the horrible writing in the Da Vinci code. Like the Titanic, this is one of those things I am avoiding till the day I die. This link was found via Kottke.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. I’ve actually read one of his earlier books: “Angels & Demons”, which is similar to “The Da Vinci Code”, especially in how bad it is apparently. Although it is a good book to read and then go through one of the detailed critiques, and refutations of alleged historical fact and laugh knowingly to yourself.

Also there’s a passage in there which surprisingly appears in a pretty cool drum and bass track.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
