  1. I linked to Strobist a while back. It is a really good site, but their focus is on off the camera lighting: multiple flashes, strobes and umbrellas, crap like that.

  2. the way that ‘blog linked to Strobist made me hopeful that I would find something useful there, but like you said, it’s all about using flash(es), whereas I’m stuck in the situation of trying to get the most out of ambient available light.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
