  1. FAIR linked to a study the other day that reported that war coverage on cable news went down this quarter as campaign reporting went up. Meanwhile, Fox spent about 8% of their airtime covering the war, compared with 15% at CNN and MSNBC.

    As the old saying goes, “If you can’t say something nice with any shred of credibility, don’t spend anymore than 8% of your time saying anything.”

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
