  1. The set up for the Canfar event was beautiful – oh yes, and if anyone has $600 to spare, want to go to a dinner next year?!? =)
It’s too bad that the event had to be cancelled, hopefully it can be rescheduled.

  2. I hatehatehate this sort of irresponsible, self-absorbed destruction or graffiti pawned off as “art”.

I hope the people responsible get a good healthy kicking…then we can post a video of it on YouTube and call it performance art.

  3. Kind of sad that no one bothered to clear the law school (and the music school) when they locked down bloor st…considering how we’re right next to the ROM.

when this happened the entire law school was in oblivion and in the library…

aren’t people concerned about my safety? They cleared the Gabbys but not us? UGH.

  4. There are some obvious lawyer jokes to be made here. And I’m also interested in what sort of reaction this gets.

  5. Torontoist has an interview with the artist.

  6. I’ve heard that two OCAD profs are suspended (or are reprimanded somehow – I forget exactly what) for somehow being involved.
Oh, apparently they never evacuated C5 Restaurant (strange), so I’m not surprised that they didn’t clear out adjacent buildings. (I didn’t know they’d cleared out Gabby’s)
Can’t believe that he didn’t think it would be a big deal.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
