A painting of me

What the fuck is wrong with Mitt Romey? ⇒

And this is the John McCain I like -- the one that isn't crazy as fuck.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Is it just me or all the Republican candidates kind of scary crazy in one way or another?

Cheney’s yes men were taking over the Justice department and saying lots of dodgy stuff was legal. Ashcroft tried to put a neutral guy in charge of the department giving legal advice to the President. The guy (I forget his name) received some waterboarding and decided it was torture. Henceforth, he lost his job (as did Ashcroft).

The US tried Japanese soldier for war crimes after the Second World War because they waterboarded prisoners. I don’t see why how it can be anything other than a black-and-white question.

You know the saying “If you have to ask, you can’t afford it”. Isn’t torture kind of like that? i.e. if it’s obviously not torture then there is no question. But if you have to ask if something is torture then the answer is yes, it’s torture.

  2. Yeah I have no idea who you’re supposed to vote for if you’re a republican. They all seem like they are trying to be even more nuts than Bush. Worse are the democrats who try to hard to sound like Republicans. The US is fucked.

And your last point is right on.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
