I know that it’s unpopular to comment on people’s love for their animals…but for many, their pets rights override human rights.
I agree.
It’s creepy…and a bit dysfunctional.

I wish I could find this article I read on how if the news showed pictures of dead or orphaned Iraqi dogs the war would be over.

You know…it’s sad, but probably more true than a lot of us would like to believe.
I suppose it’s somewhat cultural or how you were raised. I wasn’t raised with animals in the house, so I’m not all that comfortable with dogs and cats on tables or close to my food.
While I have empathy for animals and I like them, I can’t understand the obsession that some people have with their pets.
Their preference to animals over humans.
