2. I like the black background and the brown headers & footers (that’s all new, right?). I’d like to have the prev/next nav up closer to the image, but I suppose I can read the narrative first if you insist. Looks like a winner.

4. I don’t mind moving the navigation higher up. That’s why I added the navigation bar to the top. I should actually make that bar fixed in place, so it’s always the top bar of the page regardless of where you scroll. That was the point of putting it there, so you could just flip through pictures quickly.

   Before what i’d write about a photo had very little to do with the photo itself. I don’t do that as much now. I never expect people to read that junk, so you shouldn’t feel bad if you skip it.

5. And yeah, right now the only change is that I wanted a black background, and so I change the rest of the palette to something suitable. At some point i’ll change how the blog itself is managed: I haven’t got it set up nicely in Textpattern. Switching away from MT wasn’t really worthwhile. Another thing I haven’t been able to do with the page since I moved from doing it by hand to doing it automagically was posting multiple pictures a page.

8. I don’t think Flickr works well in that regard. The site is very ‘busy’. I actually have all the photos from We Must Abuse the Broadband posted in their own set. I thinking viewing them at the site itself works better.
