Comments

  1. Tomorrow I will start to blog anew.

  2. I want to see more use of the phrase “the blog game”

  3. Okay so yes this was lame, but his 5th rule, about not telling people and your blog, and then if they find out asking them to respect your privacy, is completely fucking stupid (there, I used his idiotic rule about swearing). How about this: assume that every goddamned person you’ve ever known is going to read it. If you can’t deal with the consequencs of that, don’t say it. Jackass. Yeah, post things in public and then tell those who know you not to look. Stupid. Ask Dooce about that rule.

  4. Some of the suggestions are good, some seem to be mocking stereotypical weblogs—i.e. the link to everyone suggestion. I’m not sure if the less then reasonable suggestions are thrown in their on purpose or not.

And yeah, you have to assume everyone and anyone is going to read your weblog. To do otherwise is stupid.

  5. Especially your employers if you have tendency to bitch about them.

  6. To me, this appeared to be entirely satrical. I’m suprised someone would take it seriously, but I suppose the internet is also full of people who would break into your car just to leave a copy of last Saturday’s newspaper on the driver’s seat.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
