  1. At the moment, I’m a bit pissed off that so many people on the indie message boards I frequent feel the need to stress that they weren’t fans as a qualifier to offering their condolences. It just seems like they’re placing their musical tastes over the value of a decent human life, is all.

    He really was an inspiration in so many ways…from his music to his personal outlook on life, to his strength of will against the disease he fought for years.

    I was saddened to hear that he had passed away.

  3. I remember my cousin showing me a video of him playing when we first moved to Canada. I think he must have had a single or something out on the charts at the time. It is quite incredible watching him play guitar.
