Any idea what kind of application you will build for your iphone? Write some sort of touch based tetris.

The only way to get an app you write onto your iphone would still be to join the iphone developer network, which costs $100 to ‘publish’ your app, and then download it over wifi to your iphone to install it.
Leave it to apple to restrict the method of getting 3rd party apps onto your own device and provide a ‘service’ so that they can skim off of any sales for software run on their devices.
It used to be that having a lot of software for your device made your device more desireable. Now they just want a piece of every pie possible.

Not the only way, just the only way Apple likes. I don’t see this hurting Cydia much at all.
