  2. I mystifies me how greedy the local is being when it’s clear how cash strapped the system already is.
    From what I understand, the contract is generous, considering the TTC’s financial position.

    I guess in the end, it won’t matter when the TTC will be forced into lay offs and worse conditions because of financial difficulties…

    I hope snuh is right about it being solved by Monday, because people who make a quarter of what TTC employees make will need to get to work. So many don’t have benefit packages with sick days and personal leave days…and don’t get paid if they don’t make it in to their jobs.

    But, who cares about them, eh?
