Solarized Dark Theme for Alfred

My solarized theme

Update Mar 19th 2013: Added a new theme for v2 of Alfred. I’m still using it after all thees years, and it’s still really great.

I’ve been using Alfred for a couple months now. Alfred lets you theme the look and feel of its search window. One of the first things I did after discovering the lovely Solarized colour scheme was make an Alfred theme with the same colour palette. I’m still not sure of my choice of accent colours, but I think it looks sharp. I’ll probably make a light version later. Back to work!

    The Google I was passionate about was a technology company that empowered its employees to innovate. The Google I left was an advertising company with a single corporate-mandated focus.

  • Super Feedpocalypse. 

    Google is shutting down Reader. I’m playing around with Fever again, but really i’m waiting to see what Reeder ends up moving to. (The iOS app syncs with Fever, but the iPad and Mac applications do not.)

  • Stompin' Tom Connors dies at 77. 

    When Shima and I visited my cousins in Alberta last, there was a little girl flying on the plane sitting next to us. She spent the whole flight listening to Stompin’ Tom Connors, and teaching us how our seats worked.

  • Fear of a WebKit Planet. 

    As much as I despised Internet Explorer for Windows, and what its simultaneous stagnation and dominance did to the web, I don’t think it’s the correct historical analog in this case. WebKit is not a web browser. It’s not even a product. It’s much more analogous to Linux, an open-source project that any company or individual is free to build on and enhance.
