A short interview with Maestro. I saw him live back when I was in Waterloo. Ghetto Concept opened for him. Both bands were awesome.

  1. He’s definitely underappreciated. I saw a video of his from the early 90’s on tv a few weeks ago and was surprised by how much direct social commentary there was, it was mostly canada-specific stuff that’s still relevant now. Are there any popular canadian rappers (besides those white guys from BC) who do that today?

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
