It's interesting to see how the world has changed. The subtle differences between the two versions are quite interesting. This link was found via Metafilter.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. “Just add yellow ribbons” Hahaha. Isn’t that just as sexist as before?

  2. They did seem to do a pretty half-assed job with that. Some of the changes are a shame though. I liked, “beautiful screaming lady”. Sounds very poetic to me.

  3. I thought that “beautiful screaming lady” sounded kind of like they had translated the book from japanese. that always seems to give the language an austere sort of quality, i think.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
