I’m not sure. It looks so awesome I feel like I should, but I don’t think i’m that good at those sorts of games anymore.

a friend stuck the ROM on his cart, I tried it on his DS. I didn’t play for a long time at all, but it feels really really sloppy and loose. It feels like you’re skidding all over the place. No, the first world is not the ice world). Then I got the mushroom that makes you super big and that made me angry.
the guy played it some afterwards and he said he didn’t like the feel of the controls but he’ll still probably play through to see all the secrets. I guess Nintendo is counting on that sort of thing to sell it.

Why did the super-big mushroom make you angry?
I’ve been playing it on and off when I get some downtime. I enjoy it. I wish there was a feather or Yoshi in it, though I like the blue shell.

I have no idea personally, but the first review I read on Joystick said that it was the tightest game that he’d played and that he loved it. Interesting…

Good to know; shame I don’t get commision from Nintendo. Anyway, the DS has some of the best games ever.

Dave, I dunno, it was kind of irrational…I guess I found it gimmicky and silly-looking…but I can’t really say why I don’t feel the same way about, say, the cape or the racoon tail, or Kuribo’s Shoe (omg the shoe)...
