Naina Ramajayan's first post on Sepia Mutiny is really good. And she's right: as South-Indian names go, Naina's is pretty tame. I want to give my children long crippling Tamil names that build character.
This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.
It’s the last names as much as the first. At work, where I deal with a lot of tamil names, the longest last name i’ve come across was ~28 letters.
I’m all for keeping tamil names around but sometimes it gets a bit ridiculous.
