It's the classic try to kill your daughter because she won't wear a hijab story: truly that is what Allah would have wanted. (The Star coverage is embarrassingly bad. Also, 16 year olds commenting on how "She just wanted to dress like us, just like a normal person," is a bit disappointing, though I'm sure they'd say the same thing if her dad wanted her to wear track pants and t-shirts.)

  1. So she’s dead. Hopefully this dudes ass is prosecuted hard. I imagine it will be, as people generally don’t look to kindly on fathers who kill their children.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
