A painting of me

One of my old professors Jeffery Shallit has a blog. He taught me CS462, which was really quite hard. (So hard in fact that looking at the problem sets now I have no idea what the hell is going on, which sucks because that was one of my higher CS marks in school. I suppose this is what happens when you take classes that basically have no practical application. It was enjoyable nevertheless.)

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Formal Languages and Parsing rocked. If I ever go to grad school I totally want to study something impractical (and fun) like that.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
